That's very good news, Elaine. I won't rush to use mine up now  ;)

I wish they would have a proper annual subscription service, though. Like Ancestry or findmypast, etc.

Marvellous news Elaine.  Thank you for bringing it to our attention. It was obviously a sore point with most people who only needed one or two certificate images and had to give a further £6.00 if they required another search after seven days had expired.

It is good news isn't it? I just wish that I hadn't rushed to use up my credits last week now  :(  Good news for our Aussie friends too who have had such trouble recently...they won't miss out now  :)
An annual subscription would be great wouldn't it? Maybe one day...

There's a users group isn't there? I'm sure they've asked for it before but it would be lovely.

Thanks again, Elaine.

I bought some more units today so I've got 90 days  ;)

Can anyone tell me if they have had their credits reactivated - cause it won't give me mine (9 in total  :) ) that I bought 18 october, which I think is less than 90 days ago.

I haven't either Trish, although I purchased some more the other day to reactivate my expired ones, so I wonder if I'm not eligible?  Sounds like I should be, though.

I'm with the others - let's petition SP to have subscription options, as well as pay-per-view!

Elaine -

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. An annual subscription would be fantastic. Maybe sometime in the future/

Subs have been mentioned on the TalkingScot forum but seem somewhat unlikely. I have a personal view that pay-to -view is the easiest option to ensure user pays - and as long as the prices are realistic (and the expiry time reasonable) I find it acceptable.  I didn't like 1837 originally because you could spend so many credits and never find anyone & I think Ancestry pay to view is way too expensive but I think SP prices are reasonable - nowhere else can you get certificates at anywhere near their prices. I also subscribe to FamilyHistoryOnline every so often - their credits last 6 months & prices are most reasonable.

Meanwhile it is to be hoped this is a "glitch" because we should have our credits. It seems they are comin' and goin' at the minute.
