Armed Forces / Marriage certs - marriage in India, guidance please

I have a date, 1876, and an area, Bengal Presidency, for the marriage of Alfred Pettifer (a soldier) and Sarah Jane Roberts. Could the experts please advise how to obtain the marriage cert to check on their antecedents.

Already posted on Hampshire thread but advised to direct to the deciphering experts! What could the second Hampshire place name be in the middle of this extract from the 1851 census. Any more blowing up begins to make it totally illegible. Thanks. MaxD

The attached is part of a marriage cert of 1841 at St Martin in the Fields Westminster. Bride and groom were both originally from around Winchester. I'd be grateful if someone could please decipher the residence column (might lead me to who he worked for) and the names of the witnesses (the scruffiness in that area is on the copy). Hampshire & Isle of Wight / Unreadable Hampshire birth place

1851 census entry for William Read (Ancestry has transcribed as Beas) born abt 1816 in Houghton Hants living in Newington Surrey has another Hampshire place of birth for his wife. Can anyone decipher it? (She was Eliza, born Miles, father Henry Miles a miller if anyone can go further with it).

The attached photo (kindly manipulated to size by Rootschatterer genechaser - thank you) was in the Randle family and may show Randles in Bedworth, Atherstone or Nuneaton. There are no markings on the frame or the image. Shot in the dark - does anyone recognise the picture? MaxD

Wiltshire / Wardour and the name "Jackson"

My late grandmother, who was a peripatetic cook, received a telegram from Tisbury in 1922 which appears to offer her a position at "Wardour", signed by "Jackson". Could this have been Wardour New Castle and could Jackson have been the house manager (probably not called that then)? MaxD

Wiltshire Lookup Requests / Marriage BALL/STEVENS 1832 Chilmark

Sarah Stevens married William Ball Nov 1832 in Chilmark. I believe she was one of the 2 Sarah Stevens born in Fonthill Gifford, one in 1812 and one in 1813. Father's name would decide which one. Would some kind soul please be able to look this marriage up for the details? MaxD
