Thany you Omega 1
I now have three children John 1752, William 1758, and Margaret 1767 they seem pretty well spaced for a family with no TV, could I be so bold as to ask if anyone could find more in adjoining parishes.

William Bones b-1721 Wadhurst and Ann Chapman b- 1726 Wadhurst married Oct 1750 Wadhurst, their daughter Margaret (Martha) Bones married Arthur Gray 4/7/1789 this has all been discussed in previous posts. Could I find out the names of children born to William and Ann, other than Margaret. I have mentioned in an earlier post that a Martha Bones was removed from Ticehurst to Wadhurst May 1789, would this be in relation to the child Arthur Gray whose baptism incorrecly transcribed (as noted in an earlier post) transcribed as Arthur Reay.this baptism I was informed dated 10/5/1789.

The children Thomas to Francis 1812-1826 were children of Jesse (senior) and Mary Crittendon they also had Edward 1807 and Harriet Brede and Salehurst. As I said I carried out this request for a distant cousin and should have familiarised myself with more of his information before jumping in.Margaret's birth apparently is in the IGI and cousoin says he has sighted on the Salehurst PR, but he informs me now that Margaret was the daughter of Jesse Friend (Junior) and a Mary Maria Baker whi he married at Ticehurst in 1844, confusing there being two generations of Jesse Friend married to a Mary. Also the Francis recorded in the Salehurst PR as a son of Jesse and Mary was actually a daughter later known as Frances (did not know they carried that out , back then) she married  William Baker at Ticehurst in 1844. Once again thank you for your efforts.

Do not know why I stopped asking questions on this site some time ago, as it always seems to find the answers I'm looking for.
Thank you Suey

I have made this enquiry for someone else, have reason to now believe that Mary Crittenden was born/baptised Brede Sussex 24/7/1785 and married Brede 1806 and had children from 1807. and her husband Jesse Friend Mountfield Sussex 26/3/1786. They both appear on the 1841 census Parish of Salehurst aged 55 along with a Francis 15.
Have been led to believe Mary died 16/11/1850 at Mountfield Sussex, and your burial at Salehurst.
I am currently stumped and have now found a burial 18/11/1842 aged 57 yrs Islington, County Middlesex that a family member submitted.
Along with you, I think something else going on, I know not what, also now believe Jesse went to Australia alone aged 69 in 1855.
So thank you for your efforts, will now get back to a Wadhurst query.
