Thanks for sending the reply to my querie.  All of this information is on the marriage certificate, so no need to apply for the int. to marry.  He was born in London Eng. worked in the Nat. Bk of Eng. and was transferred to Dunedin branch in 1884 at age 20 and more than doubled his salary -not like today were they have to go on strike to get a hike in pay- Ha Ha.  Janet (ankerpep_52)

Spades-Hello,I saw this Intention to marry index on a previous reply to someone else and input the date and place for the person I am interested in as above.  I have the marriage cert but wished to see what this indez said.
His name is Frederick George Hartley married to Eva Kempthorne.  I tried to access it several ways and still no luck.  Does one have to pay to look at it online?  Would it give any more information than the marriage certificate? Would love to hear from you -ankerpep_52 (Janet )

Re: 21 May 2020.  Hi Ian -I have not been on RootsChat vey much in the last few years. My apologies as life situations ie; covid and health issues and moving etc. took much time and effort.
As for Ole Christensen the 3rd. son of Christen Sorensen(my 2nd grt uncle) and Ane Marie Olesdatter. All I had was his baptism in Veng Skanderborg. Appears the 1st & 2nd Ole's died but have no death record for them as to where they were buried-most likely in Veng
    In the 1834, 44 and 55 census's Ole is not mentioned in is fathers home(house #37 VengeBye,Veng)
I also do not have Christen and Ane Marie's death or burial (day/month/year).
Danish records are so difficult to decipher (handwriting & script)  Hope all is well with you.

Martine or Martina Nielsen Christensen was visiting at this address noted in subject line..  She was born in 1879 or 1881-now deceased & was the wife of my 1st cousin 1x removed, Rasmus Sorensen Kristensen, changed to Christensen.  He died Aarhus, July 1951. Are you able to advise who was actually living at the address in Logstor? A notice pertaining to Rasmus's death was sent to Martine in 1957 to this address and as they may be relaties of Martine's, or Rasmus I would dearly like to know.    I wrote to the church in Logstor but did not receive a reply. Please help if possible.

Tree Spirit-March 14 reply to my querie-Thank you for this information as the 2 children were it appeardifficults stillborn in 1844 & 1852 and verifies parents as Ane and Anders.  Anders was not a widower then in 1840 census Anders is 33 and you said he was a widower-probably wrong person if he was still listed as father to these unborn children.  So many people had the same names ad could have been in the same town, village, city.  It is hard to read the writing in the older records and the handwriting of some is very difficult to decifer. Re: your post 14 March-the father must have remarried if he was a widower in 1840 and son born 1847.  The other Census records did confirm the mothers name as Jensdatter rather than Laursdatter as in a different reply from someone else.  Thank you  ankerpep (Janet)
