I have found that two of my Mixter ancestors married a Leonard Butcher. To clarify if it is the same Leonard or a different one each, would like a 1901 census lookup to check this out. Judging by their ages, I think they are different .

Leonard Ernest Butcher b Dec qtr 1882 Braintree   - married Emma Mixter 1910

Leonard Butcher b Sept qtr 1900 Braintree  - married Dorothy Mixter 1922

Looking for Emily French born 1852 Braintree with parents William and Mary.

Also for Frederick Young born 1852 and John Young born 1848 (both Braintree) with parents William and Lucy (born 1818). Emily later married both these brothers( at different times of course)

How do I find death registers for 2005/2006 ??  Does anyone have death notices for the Auckland area for that period. I am looking for a Rosalie *** who possibly died during that time. She was born in Auckland in 1924 and trying now to track her down. She was in the 2005 electoral roll for Tamaki but has now disappeared from the 2006 .
Microfiches unfortantely only go to 1990 and BMD requires extra cash for a search. ANy ideas welcome.

Looking for a Joseph John O Habgood born 1877 Hackney. Census lookup requested.

He is shown on BMD as married to Jane Memess in Sept 1895 Hackney and there are a number of Habgood births thereafter with mother's name Memess up to 1917 but Joseph is shown in 1911 as marrying Emily Gallington (one of my relatives) at Edmonton. There are not any other Joseph J O Habgoods, so is it possible he married bigamously ??  No births with mother Gallington in the same time.

Where would I look for court presentations in the early 1900's ie being presented to the court of either Queen Victoria or Edward VII.

I am looking for a possible court presentation of Vera Mary Bayley. She previously to 1900 had lived in Ireland and possibly India, her father was in the army. In 1908 she married the 5th Earl of Rosslyn - I have the entry and the Times cutting on this. What interests me is how did she get to meet the Earl -  was she presented at court so that she could mix in those court circles as the Earl was a friend of Edward VII and his step sister was one of the King's mistresses at one time. The Earl had been previously married twice and was considerably older than Vera, so intrigued as to how they came together.
