Looking for any information on the McQuillam family who lived in Cumberland between 1823 - 1900 (possibly longer) and moved to County Durham
James McQuillam (1) B: Ireland. James had a son called James (2) Bc:1823 in Whitehaven.
James (2) married Mary Savage 1844 in Whitehaven. They had the following children:-
James (3) B:1844
Margaret B:1847
Patrick B: 1849
John Bc: 1859
The above children except John, were Christened at St Begh's, Whitehaven.
John Bc: 1859 married Elizabeth Simpson B: 6th Dec 1865. Elizabeth was the daughter of William and Jane Simpson nee Harris.
John & Elizabeth married on 25th July 1881 at The Register Office, Whitehaven, Cumberland.
John & Elizabeth had the following children:-

William B: 1884
Agnes B: 19th Jan 1886, Died 19th Aug 1890
James B: 1887
Samuel B: 1st May 1890, Married Ann Todd 15th Nov 1913, Samuel died 1919 (Durham)
Sarah Jane B: 1895 (Durham)
Elizabeth B: 1897 (Durham)
John B: 1900 (Durham)
