Sellwood Thomas and John Sonning

Hello,
If anyone is going to the Berks Record Office I would be grateful if they could look up for the baptisms of Thomas Sellwood 1792 and John Sellwood 1791.  According to all the other info that I have they were brothers  born in Sonning Berks (which covers a multitude of sins).  They are not on the Sonning Parish Fiche from OXFHS so I am stuck as to their parents or siblings which would help me connect them with my other Sellwoods from that area.  Suggestions as to other close parishes to look in would also be useful.

Please be aware that Sonning straddles the river Thames and I believe there actually two parishes.  One in Oxfordshire and one in Berkshire.  I know this is true when searching forother records.

You seem to already aware that the hundred of Sonning at the beginning of the 19th century covered a large area stretching as far south as Wokingham.  Thus even the earlier censuses talk about Wokingham in Sonning where as today the part of Sonning south of the river is now in the District of Wokingham.

Hello David,
Yes, I know that this particular part of the world is complicated, eccliastically as well as in registration terms.  Eye and Dunsden I know is in Oxfordshire, but as Thomas (and John) stipulated Berks in the 1851 and 1871 censuses for Kingsclere Hants which  is where they were living, then I presume that they meant the other side of the river.  Thanks anyway for your interest.
