James, Hobbs, Brown of Bristol

 I’m researching my Grandmothers family name Brown, James Brown and his wife Sarah Brown moved to Newport, Monmouthshire, South Wales about 1864.
Sarah Jane Brown, my Grandmother Married John Hourihane in 1895 in Newport.
On their marriage certificate it give James Brown’s name as James Hobbs Brown.
The only other information I have is from the 1881 census. Are there any Brown’s out there who have family who moved to South Wales?
