Reynolds family from Royston

Hi my name is Nick Wingrove and I live in Canada. I am looking for the record of my G/G/Grandfather John J Reynolds who was born in Royston in abt. 1853. He later moved to London and became a police constable. Anybody interested in helping me?

Have found a John Reynolds in 1901 census born in Royston, Cambs - but he is a licensed Victualer  - wife Fanny - could this be them?

Hi Keith: That's him on the 1901 census, I had some of the later information but I didn't have anything before the 1881 census. I wonder if you could go back a little more and see what happened to his mother
