Hello Meliora,
Thank you very much for all the lookps you did,  and yes they are a big help, and like you say they are interesting,  esp:  the one child that was born in Canada,   and so interesting what different ones did for a living,  gives you a bit of an insight on how they lived back then

Hi Jenny

I have just come across this post and think that you may have gotten mixed up here.

The information posted for 1881,1891 and 1901 all concern the family of Joseph Smith and Sarah Green married 1874 in Shoreditch.

The George Smith aged 3 in 1901 was my Grandfather.

Hi Andy,
So pleased   you picked that up,   I to have a Joseph Smith who was a boot maker  in Bethnal Green,  one of his Daughter's ( Alice ) was my Granmother,  she married in 1903
to William Suggett,
I will have to start again to look for my Joseph Smith who married Sarah Corderoy

Valda,     Thank you very much,   you were correct in what you sent, my Sarah Corderoy was born 1859, & her parents were George & Sarah,   when Sarh married Joseph Smith I beleive he moved into Blythe St  where she was already living,    the only two children  I could find belonging to them were Alice, ( my grandmother ) & her brother Alf, as my Mum had spoke of him,  I also believe Alfred had joined the Coldstream Guards,,   I have had a devil of a job finding this Smith Family  and still am

Hi Jenny

Glad you are on the right track now. I know how hard it is to find a Smith in London.

Good luck.
