« on: Saturday 29 October 05 05:56 BST (UK) »
Hi Everyone
I have a  Richard Burgess who was so the story tried twice at Lewes, Sussex in Aug 1817.  He was charged with Breaking and entering a dwelling house and then stealing Sentence: 14 years - Transportation we know the name of the ship etc he arrived on in Tasmania with the other convicts.

We have not been able to find his trial info at Lewes would anyone know where else we could look?
