This place appears on the 1871 and 1881 censuses. Where is/was it? The closest I've been able to find is Llanddewi-Abergwessin. Where's that?  Any ideas?

If you check out the gazetteer at GENUKI . . . do a search for Llanddewystwllyn and it will tell you the surrounding towns/villages within 5 or 10 miles (you can nominate the distance).  Good luck.

I checked that out, Shazzam. There was no place of that name, that's where I found what could be a possibility, though it's a bit of a long shot.
