I am anxious to trace the marriage between John Leighton (possibly Layton/Latton) and Mary Lloyd in Holywell, Flintshire, North Wales about 1855. They had one child to my knowledge namely John Leighton/Latton born 1858 in Holywell in the County of Flint. Any help in tracing this marriage would be very much appreciated

did yyour john leighton have any ancestors called J leighton about 1936

hi my  leightons were in durham at the time you mentioned would that be right for you.its also very possible that any john leightons from wales could be conected.

Hi,  There are two John Leighton's on the North Wales BMD one in 1855 and one in 1858, there is  no marriage listed yet for John Leighton in 1855.  Norma_jess

thank you i had put him on the back burner as i was struggling so but now i think i need to get to the bottom of it.now ancestery has 1851 up maybe i might find a clue thank you very much for your help.
