Edward Boon/Boom 1861 Census
« on: Wednesday 02 November 05 17:39 GMT (UK) »
Can someone please be kind enough to have a look for Edward Boon/Boom in the 1861 census as i can't seem to find him before he was married

He was born 1855 in Gravesend he should still be living with his mother Mary Boon/Boom she would have been the Head of the household by this time i don't know what siblings he had.

Thanks

I can't find Edward or Mary in 1861.

Are you 100% sure about year of birth for Edward and location? Do you have either of these for Mary? Could Mary have remarried and changed her name?

Hi Northern Rose

I have got Edward's birth certifacte it says born 9th Oct 1855 at 6 Mansfield Place Gravesend.

The first time Edward pops up is is the 1881 census he is now married and living with his wife Illicent/Innocent and son Ernest they are living at Wardle St Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire.

I have no problem finding him in the Censuses once he is married i just can't seem to find him in his earlier years

I have tried every variation of his surname that i can think of to no avail

If you have his birth certificate could you post the names of his parents and father's occupation, please? Or do you know dad is definitely deceased? Might help if we can pinpoint them in 1851, maybe?
