Hi Ladies

Thanks for the help!!

I don't suppose you have access to the 1841 census for the 3 below?

John Baxter b 1777 Lowick
Thomas Baxter b 1781 Lowick
James Baxter b 1790 Lowick

These are the ones giving me a headache!!

Thanks

Paul

HI Paul

Did you go to sleep last night I was up till 1.30a.m. (converting avi files to mpegs) and rose today at 7.30a.m. but it looks like you were burning the midnight oil.  ;D  ;D  ;D

I have searched the 1841 census for your folk in Lowick and Thornhaugh to no avail.

I was given a long time ago the Baptisms for Thornhaugh which lists lots of Baxters but all later than the dates you wish. I thought it may show the families in the village at the right time span.

Sorry it seems at the moment to be a dead end.

Cheers Sandy

Hi Sandy LOL

Stop calling me Ian hehehehe LOL, LOL!!

I was up early for work this morning so I decided to ask for help early, so it was hopefully waiting for me when I got home, and it was, thankyou.

How late on does the baptisms you have go?  I have microfiche of Thornhaugh from 1773 - 1924 on baptisms.

I have recently emailed the vicar and he is going to check the burial and baptisms after 1920 for me.

Do you have any burials pre 1920?  I have the NBI ed 2 but no Thornhaugh.

Thanks again!!

Paul

So so sorryyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Paul. Must be the burning the wick at both ends makes your brain (if I had one) go fuzzy. LOL.

The baptisms are the same time scale as yours I am afraid.

There are still a few dozen villages being transcribed for Northamptonshire by the Family History Society so as you say Thornhaugh is not listed on the NB2.
