Samuel and Elizabeth were married in St Nicholas's Cathedral,in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
The marriage cert tells you that they lived within the boundaries of the Parish of St Nicholas. Which is a great piece of info, as this parish was a tiny one, right down on bank of tyne facing Gateshead.

On Census 1861, in Swalwell (Brewery Row) was a 79 yr old Swalwell-born Samuel Wheatley, with wife Eleanor 59 and grandson George 12.
