Honey family
« on: Tuesday 08 November 05 08:50 GMT (UK) »
Hi

My mother's family lived in Builth Wells, Breconshire in the 1930's; the Honey family. We have a photo of a man wearning a priests' 'dog collar' but we don't know who he is  (there is a family resembelence) and I wondered if anyone would know if I could look up a list of priest' names?

Are there any Honey's listed in the census for 1901?

Any information greatfully received. (I'm in Australia) :)

1901 Breconshire.  These are the only  'Honey's' in census

RG13/5033 Folio: 31  Page: 19
Merthyr Tydfil

21 Merthyr Road, Hirwaun

Nicholas Honey abt 1861  St Stephens, Cornwall, Head  Penderyn  Glamorgan   Navvy tunnel miner ('well' has been crossed out)
Emily Honey abt 1875  Bristol, Gloucestershire, Wife
Theresa Honey abt 1895  (6mths not 6 years) Not Known, Breconshire, Daughter

There is quite a lot of BMD info on the Honey family, under reg district 'Merthyr Tydfil'.

Hope this helps

Thankyou for your quick reply. I will have to do some digging and see if they are from the same family. Also I will try the BDM.
Best regards ;)

I may be able to help with the question about identifying the priest. Also, I have a photo of Edward Honey taken in the 1930s.
