Whoever has 1841 census could they lookup the following at all. If they are too big to search, sorry.

Have looked through Halstead for you and found the following entries.  However, some of the entries were too faded to be able to read so I can't be sure that these are the only entries.

like a fool and keen to help I looked through the images and didn't note the references.  They were all obtained from HO 107/ 568 / 12  and HO 107 / 568 / 18, but I didn't keep track of the page numbers, sorry.

I have the following information copied off my family research:

 Louisa Elsdon(William , William , Susannah ) was christened on 3 Mar 1861 in Toppesfield, Essex, UK. She died on 5 Jan 1932 in Toppesfield, Essex, UK.

Louisa married (1) Lewis Prior son of Thomas Prior on 13 May 1882 in Toppesfield, Essex, UK. Lewis was born in 1861 in Toppesfield, Essex, UK. He was buried on 16 Mar 1926 in Toppesfield, Essex, UK.

Lewis and Louisa had the following children:

    Charles William Prior was born in 1884 in Toppesfield, Essex, UK. He was christened on 24 Aug 1884 in Toppesfield, Essex, UK. 
 Walter Prior was born on 1 Aug 1887 in Toppesfield, Essex, UK. He was christened on 4 Sep 1887 in Toppesfield, Essex, UK. 
  Walter married Kate Teader daughter of Robert Teader and Maria Ruggles on 4 Jul 1914 in Toppesfield, Essex, UK. Kate was christened on 2 Nov 1892 in Toppesfield, Essex, UK. 
  41 F iii Roseanna Prior was born on 23 Feb 1889 in Toppesfield, Essex, UK. She was christened on 7 Jun 1891 in Toppesfield, Essex, UK. [Notes] 
        Roseanna married Arthur Stanhope on 25 Dec 1909 in Toppesfield, Essex, UK. Arthur was born in 1888.

You probably know that Halstead is the registration District for Toppesfield?  Here are some note re the Prior family:

Lewis Prior

Birthplace per 1881 Census
Burial Record number 683, Toppesfield Parish Church, died at age 65


Charles William Prior

Baptism # 1368, Toppesfield Parish Church

Walter Prior

Baptism # 1442, Toppesfield Parish Church.
Birth Date per parish records

Age 26 at the time of Marriage,
Labourer, Toppesfield


Roseanna Prior

Baptism # 1514, Toppesfield Parish Church
Birth per note in Parish register
1891 Census lists her at age 4 weeks at time of that census
