Barnes...help with 1861 census

My name is Mike Barnes a direct descendant of Henry Barnes and Alice Lomax....Leonard or Lenord Barnes and Alice.... nee Kay...lived at 18 Every street Walmersley....need help to find census or other information if possible...anything would be so appreciative....They actually lived at "The Red Hall"...now a hotel in Bury.in the 1850's.................kindest regards...Mike Barnes (Australia)

Hi Dinkey...

Thank you so much for the Information....I will now try to track down when Leonard arrived here in Australia...I know his son "Hiram" arrived in 1860.....

Just one more question if I may....Henry Barnes and Alice Lomax....where married in St Mary's Bury in 1797....is there any inforamtion on the 1851 or 1861 census as to their location or other family members...

I understand if this is not possible and do thank you for your time...

If you have any descendants here in Melbourne I am great at scouring cemeteries..hehehe

Hi Mike

I did not see Henry or Alice Barnes in the 1851 census.  I can only guess that as they would have been born in the 1770's that they had both died by then.
