Samuel McCormick 1862-1908

I am looking for information on Samuel McCormick. He was born in Newtownards, Co Down, c. 1862 - just before registration became compulsory in Ireland.  His father was James and his mother Elizabeth Jane Boyd.  Their children were William John, Agnes Jane, Margaret, Samuel and Hugh.  Samuel married Elizabeth Mary McConnell (Lizzie) in 1893 in Belfast.
 
According to Newtownards Model School register, he left 10 September 1870 "Gone to Belfast".  This applied also to Agnes Jane, Hugh, and Margaret.  It seems likely that the whole family went to Belfast.
 
I know nothing more about the family until Samuel turned up as a grocer at 68 Vicarage Street, Belfast in 1893.  I have loads of information from then on.  He died 22 June 1908.
 
I would like to fill the gap of 23 years.

Mary Mc Connell Laundress 2 Drew St
thats near Divis St.

Mary E Mc Connell Coffee House Keeper 4 Tomb St.

Vicarage St was in the East side of Belfast, Divis St is in West Belfast.
