Hi,

Can SKS pleas lookup John Richardson in 1841 for me?

This was the family in 1851:

HO107/1752 Folio 372-385 Page 20 Schedule 65

Oldway Road, Ravensden

John Richardson H M 35 Ag Lab Thurleigh
Sarah W M 40 Ravensden
Eli Son 13 Ag Lab Ravensden
Thomas Son 11 Ag Lab Ravensden
William Son 10 Ag Lab Ravensden

Any help would be greatly apprecviated.

Why is it that yours always seem to have someone who's gone awol?

All born in county.

I couldn't see John elsewhere in Ravensden.

Hi David,

Thanks very much for your usual rapid response.

I do get them, they don't make it very easy for me do they?

At least John turns up again in the 1851 Census and I also have him in '61, '81 & '91 (can't check '71,  no subscription at the moment).

Like Father, like Son, Eli got married in 1860 (to Eliza Richardson from Renhold just to confuse matters) and can be found on the 1861 Census but is then missing from '81 & '91 in Ravensden although his wife Eliza is still shown as married and Head!

Eliza only had children in 1860 & 1874 which might suggest Eli was away quite a lot! If you have access to the '71 census could you take a look for me to check if either Eli or John were at home then?

Thanks for the extra information. This now narrows down when Sarah died.

Eli still at home in '71, I'll do a general search for '81 and see what I come up with!
