I can't find the birth of Margaret Robinson born 1840-1845 father Jacob Robinson born about 1810 mother Margaret
I think she was born in Morpeth Northumberland...... Many thanks Irret

There is an entry for qtr 4 1840 for Morpeth(vol 25, pg 301); you would have to order the cert and do a reference check to say you only want it if parents are x and y.

I'll check the other years to see if there are other possible entries

Assuming the birth was registered. the entry details I have just given pertain to the only Margaret Robinson birth entered for Morpeth between 1840 and 1845 so you should be in with a good chance!

Thank you, did you find this on freebmd. Her father was Jacob Robinson and mother Margaret she did seem to fib about her age on census I think I will have to order it's the only way. Thanks for your interest.

It was through Ancestry-alas, the English entries don't give mother and father's name-the only way is to order the cert!
