ROWELL family from ALLENDALE

I am trying to find more information on JOHN ROWELL born in Allendale 13 April 1740, his farther is listed as ED. ROWELL.  John married MARGARET WILKINSON, also born in Allendale on 20 March 1750, they married 10 June 1771.

Does anyone have these names in their tree if not, does anyone have access to parish registers where I may be able to find out any more information i.e. mother etc.

There are several Rowells in Allendale. I'm descended from William Rowell who married Isabella Walton in 1755. He lived in Catton.

Have you tried the Northumberland communities website http://communities.northumberland.gov.uk/communities.htm to see if he crops up on any documents there.

Isabella Rowell born  Allendale 1865 daughter of Wilkinson Rowell born Allendale c1833 married my great grandmother's brother William Hunter. Any connection?

It was only the Wilkinson Rowell I thought looked a bit of a connection. I won't be going any further back than Wilkinson but if you find a link I can tell you where they went from Allendale
