Hi Robert,
I presume that you wish to find and get in touch with
Charles E. Rose or descendants if he is dead. This may be stating the obvious (please don't be insulted), but have you tried writing to the address in Nova Scotia?
He would be only about 72 now, so very likely to be living. Of course, you may have tried writing and he may have moved or the post office could not understand the
mixed up version of the address. I will clean it up for you.
Here is the address, put in order with the spelling corrected:
Charles E Rose
R R #5
Middle Musquodoboit,
Nova Scotia,
Canada
B0N 1C0
Another suggestion: try advertising in a newspaper.
Middle Musquodoboit is not very far from Halifax (the provincial capitol) and many people would read the Halifax papers. Two major papers are "the Chronicle-Herald" and" the Daily News" If you look at their websitesyou can find someone to email for advice about placing an ad. I imagine you can do it online and pay with credit card. I'd recommend the Halifax Chronicle-Herald. You can find it with Google. Write a personal ad, saying that you are looking for a relative with whom your family have lost touch, give a few details about him and his parents, ask him or anyone with information to get in touch. People are very friendly in N.S. and everybody knows their neighbours. I lived there for many years, but now I am far away on the west coast, so can't offer any direct help.
Good luck,
Carmela
