Hi jenn,

I hope you picked up on the reference to Genuki?

http://www.genuki.org.uk/

It includes a vast amount of genealogical information including county and parish maps.

As Tanja advised just put the words genuki and leeds into a search engine like Google, and hey presto.

It's always my first port of call - regardless of whether I'm looking for a fairly ordinary place or something more obscure.

Incidentally, there's the birth of a Charles Frederick RICHARDSON, Jun qtr 1889, Leeds on FreeBMD at:
http://www.freebmd.org.uk/
When you click on the place name on FreeBMD it takes you to a brief description including the fact that it is in the West Riding of Yorkshire, and then has a link to Genuki for more information.

All the best,

JAP
