Whenever I look the Elizabeth that turns up has a husband Septimus.

10 years is a long time with sparse information, can you help a bit more?  What children did they have and approximate dates of birth for them?  Where do you have the name Elizabeth Ann from? have you found them on the 1881 census?  Have you manage to identify either of them on the 1901 index? if you are able to give us more definite information from that we might be able to check the original and see what else it has to say.

Do you know when they married? would it have been before 1891 or between 1891 and 1901?  Do you have the birth certificate of one of the children which will give you Elizabeth's maiden name and help to pinpoint the marriage?

I'll have another look later if you can give a couple of details please.

Mary

Hello Mary,
I wish I did have more meat to put on the bones.
Can confirm they were married in 1882 when Elizabeth
was 18, that would make her 27/28 on the 91 Census.
I assume they would have a family, but have no details.
Hinton.

Since you have her age when married, presumably you have her father's name, I like to try to look around maybe with other family and see if they are living with them, but I notice there are two Elizabeth Barrass born in the same year living Northumberland in the 1881 census, which one is yours? and where is Edward living in the 1881 census ?

OK OK I know none of these is getting me anywhere with your Edward and Elizabeth Ann, just trying to see if they are living with relatives since they aren't easy to find.  Mind you, her parents aren't in 1891 either!

Helllo
Yes, I do have all the info on her parents & siblings.
Apart from the 1891 census for both her parents & herself.
I was hoping to be able to get a bit closer with her
details.

Sorry, I can't even find her in 1881 so as to have something as recent as possible to base searches on, nor even where she was married in 1882.

Hello Mary,
Thanks for the time you have put in over this. Elizabeth was
definitely married in Northumberland. Whether or not her husband was alive or away from the home in 1891 , or possibly they have moved away after their marriage that has made it difficult to pin point her in both Census years. The variants in the spelling of the surname is sometimes a problem. I will soldier on.
Thanks again,
Hinton.
