Hi, Can anyone please find me marriage of Samuel SUTTCLIFFE b. 1794 Thrapston to a Sarah b 1806 Hunts. First child born 1826 Woodstone Hunts.

Hunts marriage index has 1822 at Woodston Samuel Suttcliff widower to Sarah Baker. That's the only Suttcliff or any variation thereof in Hunts, so don't know where his first marriage was.

It was early this morning and it hadn't registered that Thrapston was Northants - or at least that's my excuse.  I avoid Northants like the plague (genealogically)!

Northants has only one one Sutcliff burial on the NBI - Samuel Sutcliffe aged 72 on 25 Feb 1867 at Peterborough St John the Baptist

David,  That burial is most likely him - I've already got a death index for March qtr 1867. He was the father of Ann S, who married John Partridge (my gt-grandfather) in 1863, who were living in Peterborough in 1863-68 - so perhaps he was living with his daughter's family.
