Skidby Parish records look up for a Christopher Train.
« on: Tuesday 29 November 05 01:36 GMT (UK) »
HI:
If anyone has access to the parish records for Skidby, could they please look up the following person for me?  This is just a guess as to where he was born as on every census he gives a different place of birth but he does say Skidby on two of the census records.

The person I am looking for is a Christopher Train born between
1811 - 1816 according to his age given on the census records.

Christopher Train is my big brick wall as I can't find a birth record for him nor can I find his marriage !!!

Thank you very much for taking the time to look this up for me.  I really appreciate it.

Regards
Anne

This is a bit of a long shot but there is a Christopher Train born at Beverly whish is about 4 miles from Skidby but it says he was christened on the 11 April 1801.
parents were
John Train and his wife Mary

Hi Ricky1

Thanks for the information, I had seen this baptism for this Christopher Train and I have wonder if he is the right one. My problem with this is that the parents names are John and Mary Train. Christopher did not have any children with these names.

His first son was called William and the Second son was George. But he had a daughter named Mary Ann ( who is my 2xgrgrandmother).

I must say Christopher is giving me a headache trying to find any early information about him.

Thanks again

Anne
