Andrew and James Clark/Clarke

Trying to find the birth of Andrew Clark born c1832 and his brother James Clark born c1847.

Born in Belfast and possibly lived in York Street, Belfast.

Name of their Father is Robert Clark.

Andrew Clark married Mary Wilson at The Glastry Presbyterian Church in Co Down 25/04/1863. Name of Mary's Father is James Wilson.

James married Rose Rooney, but I have no information as to the dates of this marriage.

I have found both families in Cumberland and Durham but nothing in Ireland, apart from Andrew's marriage certificate and the birth's of their children born in Co Down.

What date did you find the families in Cumberland and Durham?

Where in Co. Down were the children of Andrew and Mary born? I am just wondering whether Robert might have died so that James was living with Andrew and Mary when he married Rose Rooney. Rooney, to my mind, would be more common in Co. Down than in Belfast.

James born about 1847 so I will have a look in directories late 1860s to early 1870s to see if I can find Robert and more Rooneys.

Andrew and James's family first appeared in Cumberland in the 1881 census.
I have the birth certificates of the following children

Isabella 08/01/1865 Kirkistown Portaferry Downpatrick
Mary Jane 27/10/1866 Kirkistown Portaferry Downpatrick
Anne 19/07/1869 Gransha Greyabbey Newtownards
James 31/10/1871 Gransha Greyabbey Newtownards
James is not with the family in 1881 and they name another son James born 05/08/1878 Maryport Cumberland
