I've just noticed that the Limerick City website includes a page about The Old Limerick Journal   which has been published regularly since 1979. To date (2007) there have been forty two volumes issued. The content of these volumes constitutes an invaluable record of the social and political history of Limerick. The vast majority of the articles in the journal are about events in Limerick City although there are also a number of articles about events in the County.
