Trying to find any information on Lily Coles b abt 1881 Brisbane, Australia
She married William Burgess Attwood 28 March 1910 Invercargill,NZ and died 26 April 1945 in Timaru NZ
Any Help much appreciated

This was all I could find (up to 1890 - I didn't check the second CD). Let me know if you want anything else. The births are not registered in Brisbane - but they could be very close by - e.g Ipswich - there is no way to tell without the certificate

I'll check next time - Did Harriet die in Australia - if so, her death certificate should give parents, spouse, children - sometimes I am thick     I need her marriage to find a death certificate. I'll look for a birth

Just found Eli d 1956 Buried at Lutwyche Cemetery In The Same Grave is Betha Anna Coles d 1971. They are in the ANZAC part of the cemetery. Will this Mean he Served in a war and if so would his records be online?

The fact that Eli's war record has already been digitised probably means that someone else is also researching this family - shame you cannot find out who requested the digitising. The basic details for Stanley are also here

The Navy records are very minimal, cf the army.

As Cazay said, Lutwyche is a surburb of Brisbane - probably 4-5 km North of the City. The cemetery is in fact further North  between Kedron and Chermside. I already have one request for some photos there - so could check yours out as well. Can't manage it this weekend, but perhaps next.
There is also a Harriet Lane buried at Lutwyche - born c. 1848.

If Harriet was born in Australia her birth would be in the NSW Index if she was born before 1860 (pre separation). THere is this one

The marriage of Bertha and Eli would be in the fiche indexes - are you anywhere near an LDS centre - they may have the fiche.

Back looking for Lily Coles
In 1910 when she married William Burgess it states on the marriage Certificate that Lily was a Widow age 29. Her name is down as Lily Turner commonly known as Coles. Date of death for former spouse is Unknown.
Where can i look for a marriage of Lily Coles to a Turner as i suspect they married in Australia.
