Replying to other members
« on: Saturday 10 December 05 09:35 GMT (UK) »
Hello

Can anyone help.

I have been looking through some other member's messages in a hope to gain information about one of my ancestors.  I have looked at the occupations page and particularly the blacksmiths pages.  There is at least one member I'd like to ask a question of but can only see the 'quote' option box and no 'reply' option box except for the last user for the subject.  How do I contact other members if there is no reply option.

Hi J.A.

The Reply button means reply to this topic, rather than a personal reply.
By clicking on here, you can add your information and questions to the thread, where it can be seen by others who are following the thread (actively and passively) and anybody can answer.

This is one way of getting in touch.

The second possibility is to send a PM (personal message) which will be a private message, just to that person.
Click on the green scroll under the profile information of the person you want to contact.

Hope this helps,
Bob
