The Ayno? you thought you saw after the word North is in fact 'Amps'  short for Northamptonshire.Or Northants.
Back then Peterborough WAS in Northants.

Did you notice how it was transcribed as Poro.!!!
All those looking for ancestors in Peterboro' take note!
Also discovered today that Birmingham is not only Bham but Brum too!!!
