could any one give me advice as to where i could find the relevant information with regards to the marriage of thomas bennett and mary horton in st helens approx 1943/44 so that i could send for a marriage cert.

I had a few credits left on

and found the marriage for you.
Thomas Bennett - Horton registered in Prescot volume 8b page 1196 in the April- June Quarter of 1944.
