Glad to have been of help with info on the book.

I live within 2 miles of both Car Colston and East Bridgford. The local libary in Bingham, (which is where I live), has an excellent local family research and records area.

I have no personal knowledge of family histories in the area as my wife and I settled here, after I retired from the RAF. My personal research is connected to London and N. Devon.

As your line of research is local to where I live, it would be a pleasure to go and dig up anything I can find, to help in your quest. Whilst in the market today, I will pop in and give you any findings tonight.

I saw a posting from Graceofblagge back in 2013 as she was searching for information regarding her great great grandfather and realized we had a common relative.  Specifically, my great grandfather was a Englishman who emigrated to the USA in the mid 1800's, he was a veterinarian and lived and worked in Depford, New Jersey, USA, he also taught veterinary medicine at Philadelphia, when they had a college of Veterinary medicine.  Never met him, as he may have died in 1930.  His son, Joseph W Rogers was my maternal grandfather and also lived and died in New Jersey.  I tried to reach you in 2013 but got confused on how to use this Forum.  William Mark McBride New Castle , Delaware USA
