1891 look up please. COMPLETED WITH THANKS

I am looking for information about George Elsey, believed to be from Nettleton, Lincolnshire.  He married in York, in 1910 and his age was given as 24, that would make him about 4 or 5 in 1891.  On his marriage cert. it gave his fathers name as John Elsey (dec), a Farm Labourer.

I am afraid that is all the information I have about George Elsey.

A quick look only finds 1 George born in Lincolnshire - and that is with a father of Joseph and in Donington - and Joseph is a wire worker?

Hi, have found the following on 1891 census.RG12/2621 ed10 fol103 p 2

George Elsie b 1886 Nettleton   Grandson
Eliza Elsie b 1859   Binbrook  single  Daughter
Ann Colbeck b 1816  Croxby  Widow  Head

Address only as 16,Nettleton.

Also 1901 census Rg13/3098 ed9 fol103 p2
Eliza Elsey b Louth  Head
George Elsey son b 1888 Nettleton
Resident..Nettleton

Would seem to be same family.

Eliza ELSEY was also single in 1881, a servant in Stainton le Vale.  It looks rather that his deceased father "John ELSEY" may have been a fabrication.

There are no John ELSEYs on the NBI or FreeBMD which fit.
