Nicholson family in Devonport, Plymouth

Looking for help, ancestors and descendants of the following:
John Nicholson (occupation Stonemason) who had 1 known child Ann (born C1823/1824 Devonport).  She married twice.
First husband was William McConnell, they married 1841 Stoke Damerel and had 1 known child Elizabeth Jane (born 1844).  William died in Plymouth/Devonport 1847 and was a mariner.  His father was George McConnell (occupation Smith).
She married her second husband Matthew Matthews in 1848 in East Stonehouse and they had 3 known children, Ann (born 1854 Devonport), John born C1859 Branscombe) and Matthew George (born C1861 Maryport, Cumberland).

This could be your family in 1841. Ages tended to be rounded down to 5 below eg 15 is 15-19, 50 50-54. John is unfortunately not working as a stonemason on this census
