RootsChat - no 3 in the genealogy.org charts!!
« on: Friday 19 November 04 05:11 GMT (UK) »
I just was at genealogy.org and rootschat is listed as the 3rd most popular genealogy site w/106,327 hits as of this past Sunday!  That is outdoing many sites that have been around a lot longer.   Word has gotten out!      Leagen

It must be the very good work of the caretakers, Trystan and Sarah.  Well done you two for this wonderful site ;D ;D

I just went back to genealogy.org and just since I was there earlier this morning the hits have gone from 106,327 up to 113,614.  The only sites above this is Ancestry.com at #1 and Rootsweb at #2.  We'll show them!

I reckon I am responsible for half those hits!   I'm in and out like a jack-in-the-box all day just to see what's happening!

I don't care what we have to do to beat Ancestry.com, I would just like to do so.  They irritate me so badly!  Lets all agree to log-in, look around quickly, leave and come back again.  Doing this several times a day will really add the hits up.     Leagen
