I think Google has a lot to do with the hits.  I reckon it will get to the situation that whatever you search on a rootschat page will be returned.  From sexy santas to John Smith born 1783.

As it's getting near the end of the week, I thought I'd look at genealogy.org and see who's at the top of the charts, before the counters are reset (every Sunday apparently):

Next highest (Coats of Arms) 40753

Should the topic heading be changed to no. 2 in the genealogy charts?

NB: I do worry about how sound these things are.  According to the latest data my site has had more hits this week (33) than the 1901 census , ie www.census.pro.gov.uk (22); maybe the 1901 census traffic now goes primarily through Genes Reunited?

I assume GR is not registered with Genealogy.org.  You need the code on your site - look right at the bottom of this page for a tiny logo under the RootsChat postal address.

Glad to see we made number 2

It deserves top spot though as the hard work of everyone involved is much appreciated particularly by this individual.  Have not begun to explore a lot of the possibilities yet on this site as am time limited.  Do check it most days though!
