1851 lookup please

Can anybody please help me locate a CHARLOTTE SILMAN born about 1818 in Bladon. I believe her husbands name would be THOMAS. Last known in North Leigh in 1848. Thanks

I can find a Thomas SILMAN in Northleigh in 1851.  He is a 48 year old widower with children Elizabeth and Thomas.  Does this sound like the family you are seeking?  Ref HO107/1731/51/12

In 1861 this chap is married to a Hannah.

This possibly could be the Thomas Silman I am looking for. I know he was married to a Charlotte but she may have died before 1851. Would it be possible for you to tell me where he was born and also the ages and places of birth of the two children. (don't worry if you are busy)

Address: Northleigh, Oxfordshire

It looks likely either Thomas snr's wife died in the last 2 years, or Thomas jr is the illegitimate son of Elizabeth.

I am aware of the discrepancy with the spelling, but in 1861 he is SILLMAN!  Thomas jr is still with him and new wife Hannah, but Elizabeth is not.

18 OCT 1821 - Thomas SILMAN (N. Woodstock) to Charlotte NEVILL (N. Woodstock) at Bladon

(This is the only Thomas SILMAN/SILLMAN/SELMAN+Charlotte marriage on the index.)

And from the North Leigh PRs (transcribed by the OFHS), the following burial entry:

25 JUL 1850 - Charlotte SELMAN, aged 37
