As an aside, the Ringers pub is now The Fat Duck, famous 3 michelin star restaurant!

       Thanks for that Nell.  I've been trying to find info on The Ringers.
              The bus stop was right outside   
          I think it was the pub in the high street of bray on the left with the church behind you. Very low door, I think. But it's ages ago I went to Bray village.

That's the one.  There used to be a garage opposite, but it's now a number of posh houses.  Church is still there, though

    There is nothing when googling on The Ringers. 
             Perhaps they were in there having a pint on Census night

Further info - The Ringers started life as a cottage in the 16th century but may not have become a beerhouse until 1896, when it passed into the hands of John Fuller who was a brewer.  This is from a book by a local historian, so I'm not sure how that fits with the 1871 census info
