Hiya dont know if you already have this but  found William with his parents in 1871 living in Redruth Cornwall Richard Reynolds/Head/49/Mine Agent/St Agnes Cornwall .Elizabeth Reynolds/Wife/53/St Columb Cornwall.William Reynolds/Son/17/Printers Apprentice/Altarnun Cornwall.Thomas Reynolds/Son/14/Printers Apprentice/Altarnun Cornwall.In 1891 William and family living at 15 Greenfield Place Llandilo it states William is a Printer Compositor so the 1871 entry looks correct.Best Wishes Welsh Lady
