Paterson Births from Grange Banff

Looking for birth of twins George and Isabella  children of Thomas Paterson and Ann Cruikshank.

Ann died 28/12/1842 supposedly after the birth of the twins.  Thomas remarried Jean/Jane McGregor 1843 and had Jane and a Margaret.

Can anyone trace their births please

On IGI there are seven children showing for this couple born between 1827-1841, with a George on 26 Aug 1836 and the last recorded birth for Ann 21 Mar 1841.

The George born in 1836 died before 1841 and then they had the twins about Dec 1842.
 Then Thomas remarried and had 2 more children with Jean/ Jane (she was a widow and had 3 children William b1833 Adam b1835 and Janet b1836 last name Innes)  Jane and Margaret.  But I cannot trace them either.

Thomas's second wife was Jane McGrigor. She married first William Innes on 29 April 1832 in Keith, Banff. Children are as you have: William 14 May 1833, Adam 19 Feb 1835 and Janet 14 Oct 1836. All births in Keith.

Sorry - I've just realised when you said at the end of your post that 'I cannot trace them either' you meant Margaret and Jane, not Jane's first 3 children. Unfortunately, as you have found, no trace of them on IGI.

Cannot find them on OPR or IGI  Twins or Jane orMargaret.  I have the details of the Innes children Thanks.  They all emigrated to Canada as they are shown on the 1861 canadian census except for William Paterson.

Do you have details of Ann Cruickshank's birth/parents? I have Cruickshanks from the MacDuff/Banff area and wondered if there was a connection?

The Cruikshank we have was from Marnoch, I don't know where that is.  I am not familiar with the area
