Birth record Mauritius- William Henry Hampton.

I am wondering if anyone knows how to find birth records for mauritius.
William Henry Hampton was born aprrox in 1831. He mus have gone back to England because he as an able seaman on board the ship SYRIA in 1854, This ship left plymouth and traveled via Rio to Sydney Australia. He married Jane Simpson in 1863. William died in 1864 aged 34 yrs  in sydney Australia.
