Ayscough/Askew of Stallingborough
« on: Wednesday 11 January 06 18:14 GMT (UK) »
I have my G G G Grandfather Christopher born 1765 in Ludborough though most of his siblings were born in Stallingborough. I also have the marriage of his parents Thomas and Elizabeth Welsh in Ludborough (Thomas of Barnold-by le Beck and Elizabeth of this parish) but cannot find birth of Thomas.  (Just about at my wits end now, even been to the records office). Please can anyone help???

I see the IGI has one allegedly born in Grimsby in 1732.  Most of them seem to be from the south of the county.

Thanks for the reply

Thomas and Eliza had several children acording to IGI. First was about 1752. I had the marriage as being in1749. So could be a possibility. There are 5 possibles on IGI. Hopefully looking to break down this brick wall.

Thanks again Geoff
