If anyone is researching The Chatham Hebrew Society Synagogue Ledger, 1836 – 1865 at the Medway Archives, would you be willing to keep an eye out for information about my ancestor, Barny Barnett (he was a hatter at the time)?
I have just received a copy of the Michael Jolles publication which lists names and appendices from the ledger. I have a time frame for Barnett "Barny" Barnett and the references from the Michael Jolles book.
Thank you in advance to anyone who might be able to help me learn more about my Barnett family. Until now, we never knew that we had any Jewish ancestors.
I live in Canada and it will be years before I can visit England (if ever).
