Edwar Atterby 1871 Census - Complete
« on: Friday 13 January 06 08:57 GMT (UK) »
Could anyone help me to find Edward Atterby in the 1871 Census. He was born Dec 1847 in Mount Pleasant and in 1861 was working as a Servant, the information is:
2334/64 Frithville
Edward Atterby      Serv.    13     Boston
By 1871 his father had died and the details for his Mother in the 1871 Census are:
3339/15/8
Martha Atterby   Hd   M   48      Boston LIN
Richard Atterby   So      10      Frithville LIN
Joseph Atterby   So      4      Frithville LIN
Joseph Basker   Bd      38      Carrington LIN
This means he hadn't moved back home.
In the 1881 Census he is married and living in Coundon Grange in County Durham
Thanks in advance.

Names: Cuthbert, Atterby, Blenkin, Raisbeck, Barclay, Wilkinson, Pyle, Fleming

Thanks very much for that Geoff, in the 1881 he is given as a horsekeeper at the pit.
