1841 Look Up Please - BLANKS - Rochford
« on: Sunday 15 January 06 18:22 GMT (UK) »
Good Evening  :)

I would be grateful for information about the Blanks family with Edward as head born c1815 and his wife Mary (Ann) born  c1820 both born 'in county' and shown as living in North Street, Rochford in 1851 where Edward is shown as an Iron Smith (master).

Many thanks in anticipation. Kind Regards - Dave

Hi CP

Many thanks (once again) for your time and effort - wondered if Neave was correct, and have since found that it is. The Gun maker is an interesting addition to his occupations and made me look again at the 1851 page - one of the census checkers had put one of their infamous big black lines through it, but by magnifying I can now make out that it is most likely to be 'Gun Smith' as opposed to my transcription - thanks for that.

Kind Regards - Dave
