BDM Search please! Surname WINCH

hello everyone am a newbie to this site so I am hoping here that someone might be able to help me out
I am searching for my grand father
CYRIL ALBERT WILLIAM WINCH  I have been led to believe that  he died some where in Wales, place and date unknown - his  date of birth 13 Nov 1913 born in Devon Kent (so I have been told)
I have tried the NBI without success, he may have gone by one of his middle names, as it turned out he hadn't divorced my grand mother and apparently re married and had more children.

Oh the skeletons!!

    I take it you meant Dover Kent.

     Anyway I cannot find a birth reg.for your Winch.Have you got his mothers maiden name? It might make it easier to search for his birth.As for his death reg. I think if you are in the Uk you will have to search the GRO in a local studies section of your local library.

Hi joburg,
not in UK but what I was told was Devon so I take it its not in Kent?
His mothers name was Violet Tait(e) not sure of spelling,father was Albert William winch.
Albert along with 2 of his children were killed in one of the bombings of London July12 1944.
The name of the 2nd lady the one was supposed to have married is Dorothy Pallett, I haven't been able to locate her either.

I am hoping to track down some living relatives if there is any.

Not sure if this is your Alfred .. I found a Alfred Wince buried Glyntaff Cemetery Pontypridd 1942
also buried with him Emily Win her surname has not been spelt the same letters missing year 1940.
