I am looking for a James Wheatley (Whiteley) who was born possibly around 1788 and possibly in Dorset.
He married Sarah in St James Poole in 1811 and they had a son who in 1812 was christened in Poole.
In 1841 Sarah is age 50 and a weaver, but I didn't get the address, is doesn't mention if she is a widow.
In 1851 it does say she is a widow and living in St James Poole Chapel Lane.
I'm wondering if James was alive in 1841 but elsewhere or was he already deceased?
Does anyone know how I can find out whether he was already deceased or can anyone offer any information on him please?
